Proposal for the Benjamin Moore 2010 Envision Color Student Design Contest / Imaginez La Couleur Concours Pour Étudiants En Design

Project description: The concept of pixels has been explored to give to this children's bedroom a young-looking and enjoyable atmosphere. The different activity areas determine the density and the dynamism of the cubes. The colors chosen create an adequate contrast between elements and at the same time to give vitality to the room.

Description du projet: Le concept de pixels a été exploré pour procurer à cette chambre d’enfants une ambiance ludique et amusante. Les différentes zones d’activités de la chambre viennent influencer la densité et le dynamisme des cubes. Les couleurs choisies permettent de créer des contrastes intéressants et de donner de la vie à l’espace.

Yeah, I agree with everyone else. Wonderful and unique design, but it could be dangerous. You can't really expect little kids to be very careful in such an exciting place. It's sad but true.

Love the idea, but a major concept flaw is the protrusions that make it great. As a mother, I only see lots of black eyes and head wounds caused from trips that landed on sharp corners.
