You asked for comments & critique, so here's some critique (granted, from someone who doesn't know much about HDR):
The HDR effect is nice here in that it makes the photo interesting. Looking at what's in it, it probably wouldn't be very special otherwise. Some locations are like that - they look good in person, but you just can't take a pretty photo of them unless you use some tricks. I think, however, that the HDR is a bit over-used here - it makes the photo heavy and a bit chaotic. Perhaps a different composition would have fixed that. At least 300 people apparently disagree with me though (looking at the number of favs this has!), but I'm not sure which is more impressive here, the photo itself or just the HDR.
I agree, I love how the clouds look. It almost seems like the fur of an animal! I also really like the lighting and what it does to the colours, it's a good contrast without going too extreme, I suppose. XD I'm also very fond of reflections in the water and that looks nice too...even the things floating in the water work pretty well! Favourite!
This looks like a place I would love to visit and photograph. I really like how you've captured the colors of the clouds/sky and the mirror image in the water, as well as the greenage in between the two. It sort of makes me think this is a place just waiting for something to happen...or has already seen it and has many stories to tell, if it chooses.
